Life List


Tony over at iRiverRat, emailed me and asked me if I had a life list of fishes I have caught. Well, here it is. I suspect there might be a few minnows I missed, but I will be taking photos of all minnows from here out for better identification. This list should expand this year by a few species if all goes as planned…

  1. An impressive list Drew! I've always suspected fly fishermen were a little obsessive compulsive. Were they all caught on yhe fly?

  2. Nice list! And that Green X Pumpkin at the top is really cool looking too!

    Hogsucker - that's a tough one to get, especially on the fly. I was going to put in a serious effort at a fly rod Hogsucker last summer but the high water flooded out all my good riffles for the whole season, maybe next summer...

  3. Thanks for the compliments guys! John, those are all on the fly. I am a bit OCD when it comes to fish... is that a bad thing?

    Tony, thanks- the hogsucker was caught in NY when steelheading... they stack up in a small stream that time of year. All over the place. My buddy was chasing steel and I was targeting the suckers and pike... guess I have my priorities huh?
